Milan’s Fikayo Tomori: “Roma are strong, it’s going to be a tough match.”

Roma return to action tomorrow evening and kick-off the second half of their campaign against Milan.

The Rossoneri host José Mourinho’s side tomorrow evening at the San Siro for their second meeting of the season. Milan defeated Roma 2-1 in late October, however, the match was filled with multiple controversial refereeing decisions, including a soft penalty being awarded against the capital club.

Given that the Giallorossi will undoubtedly be seeking revenge, Milan’s Fikayo Tomori expects it to be a battle tomorrow evening.

“It’s going to be a tough match,” he told Milan TV. “Roma are very strong and they’re fighting for a Champions League place.”

“The first match was really tough and we expect tomorrow to be the same, perhaps even more-so. We’re preparing as best we can and if we play to our maximum ability we’ll have a good shot to win.”

“But we need to stay focused. I’m well aware of how dangerous guys like Tammy (Abraham), who I know well, can be. We’ll have to do all we can to stop them and play like we know how to in order to win.”

The two sides face-off tomorrow evening in Milan at 18.30 CET.
