Milan’s Matteo Gabbia after Roma defeat: “We are very disappointed, we wanted a different result.”

Milan defender Matteo Gabbia commented the bitter evening that his side eliminated from the Europa League following another 2-1 loss to Roma at Stadio Olimpico.

In his post-match interview with MilanNews.it, Gabbia said, “My goal is worthless. It doesn’t mean anything. We are all very disappointed.”

“We wanted to return home with a different result. We need to roll up our sleeves and prepare as best we can from tomorrow onwards with all the energy and strength for Monday’s match which is very important.”

“We expected everything and had prepared it in the best way possible. There is disappointment because we wanted to do something different. Congratulations to them.”
