Stefano Pioli will most likely have to do without some key players in the upcoming clash with Roma on 8 January.
The Milan boss is increasingly preoccupied with Mike Maignan’s condition. The French shot-stopper aggravated an existing injury before the international break and was excluded from Didier Deschamps’ squad.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Maignan’s recovery has been subject to several delays as the player continues to work out in the gym. Maignan is expected to undergo further tests, but his status is doubtful for the match against Jose Mourinho’s men.
Similarly, Divock Origi has once again suffered an injury in training and continues to undergo rehab.
