Milan attacker Olivier Giroud announced his departure from the Rossoneri at the end of the season.

Before moving to the American’s MLS, the French striker gave a lengthy interview to Milan TV where, among other things, he discussed his biggest regret of this final season in Milan.

“For me this year the Serie A campaign was very difficult, because Inter did something incredible and so I don’t consider it a regret per se.”

“But in Europe yes,” he added. “I was devastated when we lost to Roma. We played below our level. There was some frustration. I was devastated after this match because I wanted to bring another trophy to Milan.”

‘I hope Milan, even when I leave, will win again and again. I will always be a Milan fan and this club will always remain in my heart. I love you very much, very much.”
