Milan attacker Ruben Loftus-Cheek expressed his confidence in his team’s ability to overturn the result of the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals with Roma on Thursday night.
With just a few days remaining until the return leg in Rome, Loftus-Cheek spoke to Milan Tv after the 3-3 draw with Sassuolo.
“During the season whenever we ended up trailing, we always recovered the result and won,” said the ex-Chelsea man.
“Going to Rome down by one goal is not a new situation for us, we’ve been there before,” he added.
“So, yes, we are confident we can turn it around,” he concluded.
