Milan manager Stefano Pioli was very vocal about his team’s ability to turn around the initial deficit against Roma in the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinals.

On the eve of the decisive match at the Stadio Olimpico, Pioli attended his pre-match press conference.

“We must have the utmost confidence and absolutely believe in ourselves. I believe we have the potential to play a great match and win it.”

“The first leg doesn’t matter anymore, we can’t just sit there and overthink it: certainly there are many small things we can do and we have to do better to put our opponents in difficulty.”

“It is also true that it is another match, it will be another 95 minutes where we will have to put in a lot of quality and a lot of energy to get the result we want.”
