Roma goal-keeper Rui Patricio was at the center of a horror show versus Hellas Verona, conceding an easy, long-distance shot in the second half.
The Portuguese shot-stopper failed to give the rest of the team some much needed stability and security to maintain the initial 2-0 lead over Marco Baroni’s side.
According to Corriere dello Sport, newly appointed manager Daniele De Rossi and his staff are expected to make necessary evaluations with regards to Patricio’s place in the starting line-up.
The current goal-keeper coach, Simone Farelli, had worked with Patricio in the past and is now helping Mile Svilar in his development.
The newspaper argues that Svilar could eventually overcome Patricio in Roma’s starting eleven, having already collected more appearances thus far than in all of last season (8).
