Italian media unanimously decided to vote for Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar as the strongest performer in last night’s 2-2 draw with Fiorentina.
The Serbian shot-stopper proved himself once again by completing a number of impressive saves and, most importantly, saving a crucial penalty to keep Fiorentina’s lead only down to 2-1 before Roma found the late equalizer at the death with Diego Llorente.
Today’s Italian media reports all gave Svilar the highest ratings.
Zalewski and Pellegrini – both of whom came on in the second half – were also rated positively for their impact.
In the meantime, Paredes, Mancini and Lukaku were on the receiving end of much criticism. Mancini, in particular, was criticized for earning a yellow card less than 5 minutes into the first half.
