Roma goal-keeper Mile Svilar is expected shortly to sign a new long-term deal with the club.
The Serbian shot-stopper is set to continue being Roma’s first-choice option in goal for the coming season.
After impressing in the last few months under Daniele De Rossi, Roma want to reward Svilar with a new contract which will entail a higher salary.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the agreement is in place and it’s only a matter of time before Svilar pens his new deal.
Very soon, if not already before July, the Serbian will sign the contract extension after a second part of the season lived as a true protagonist.
The new contract will probably lock him in until 2028.
The salary increase will reflect his importance to Roma’s long-term project.
