Mile Svilar on ‘difficult’ draw with Servette

Andy Mattioli

Roma second-choice goal-keeper Mile Svilar reacted to last night’s result with Servette.

The Serbian keeper started his fourth consecutive Europa League match and put on a brilliant display up until Servette’s painful equalizer in the second half.

“This was a difficult pitch to play on,” Svilar told Roma TV after the final whistle. “The pitch was really ugly and hard to play on tonight. It’s a shame we were not able to walk away with a win.”

On his own development, Svilar remarked, “I’m doing my job. I work every day for this, I feel better with every match.”
