Second choice goal-keeper Mile Svilar made his second consecutive start for Roma in last night’s 3-0 win over Frosinone.
The Serbian shot-stopper once again replaced Rui Patricio in the Giallorossi’s goal and proved crucial to keeping a clean sheet, especially in the first half when Roma visibly struggled against Frosinone.
In his post-match press conference, head coach Daniele De Rossi praised Svilar and reaffirmed his confidence in him going forward.
“Everyone did badly tonight, especially in the first half, except Svilar,” De Rossi told reporters.
“Once again, Mile demonstrated that he’s in a state of grace, going through a very positive moment,” he added. “He saved us in the first half and will now have the space he deserves in our line-up.”
