Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar reacted to the team’s defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in tonight’s 0-2 affair at the Stadio Olimpico.
In his post-match interview with Rai Sport, Svilar remarked “It wasn’t the evening we wanted, the result is not good. Anything can happen in football, we have to believe in it and go to Leverkusen to win.”
“They played well, we created but the ball didn’t go in. We are also a high level team, we play as many games as they do. They had an extra day, this could also be a small advantage. We have to go there to win.”
“What De Rossi said at halftime? He said that we had to continue, that it wasn’t all negative and that we didn’t just have to attack because we had 45′ at home and 90′ away.”
