Roma goal-keeper Mile Svilar proved to be the hero of the night as the Giallorossi beat Feyenoord 5-3 on penalties to advance to the next round of the Europa League.

The Serbian shot-stopper helped seal the win providing his side two miraculous saves in the final penalty shoot-out.

In his post-match interview, Svilar did not contain his happiness, “It’s an incredible. I have no words, I have worked my whole life for this moment.”

“This stage, my goodness,” he added. “Every time I enter this stadium it becomes more special. It’s crazy,” he said.

“Penalties? In these moments I don’t feel any pressure. I could have saved three of them. That’s okay, we won, that’s what’s important.”

“De Rossi? This trust that he has in me is very important. It translates into much better performances on the pitch. I’m more calm. I thank the coach for this trust.”

“Tonight is unforgettable for me and my family. I want to thank everyone.”
