Mile Svilar was once again given the chance to feature from the start for Roma in last night’s win over Spezia.
After not appearing for the Giallorossi all season long, Svilar made several appearances from the start late in the Serie A campaign.
In an interview with DAZN, Svilar analyzed the match with Spezia and thanked Mourinho and assistant coach Nuno Santos.
“It wasn’t an easy game, they had to win, but we also played for the win and managed to qualify in the Europa League,” said the young shot-stopper.
“In the end you see the hard work I put in this season, I have improved so much mentally. I’m happy for the season finale, it wasn’t easy for me and for us, but in the end we did well.”
“I worked hard with Nuno Santos and I want to thank him and Mourinho for giving me the opportunity to play in this great stadium with incredible fans.”
