Milik edging closer to Roma, Kumbulla not an objective

RomaPress – After five years, the love story between Edin Dzeko and AS Roma appears to be coming to an end.

The Giallorossi are closing in on an agreement with Napoli for striker Arkadiusz Milik, who has only one year left on his deal with the Partenopei.

Those within the entourage of Dzeko believe that Roma is closing in on the acquisition of the Polish attacker, who would ultimately replace the Bosnian in the team.

The move would, in turn, allow Dzeko to join Juventus, who have made the former Manchester City man their main priority.

Meanwhile, there were whispers that Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla could become a target for the Giallorossi, however, those close to the Albanian maintain that there has been no contact with Roma.

”Contact with Roma? No, there’s no updates on it. Three Italian clubs and two foreign ones remain interested,” said one of the individuals who oversees Kumbulla’s interests to RomaPress.
