Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik has made it clear that he wants to remain in Italy.
The Polish attacker has only one-year remaining on his contract with the Partenopei and is very likely to depart the club this summer, but he prefers to continue his career in Serie A.
Calciomercato.it reports that German side RB Leipzig recently made a contract proposal to Milik worth €3 million in wages per season, but the striker has rejected the offer. Milik made it clear to the German side that he wants to remain in Italy’s top flight.
Furthermore, the wage offer from the Bundesliga side to Milik was much inferior to the one made by Roma, who must first find a deal to sell Edin Dzeko before welcoming the Polish international.
