Milik returns to Rome following medicals in Switzerland

RomaPress – Napoli striker Arek Milik touched back down at Ciampino Airport in Rome early this evening following the first round of medical examinations in Switzerland for his transfer to Roma.

The Polish international visited the Klinik Gut in St. Moritz to have both of his knees examined by orthopedic specialist Dr. Georg Ahlbäumer ahead of his nearly 27 million move to the Italian capital.

The parties are now hard at work to finalise the double-transfer that will see Milik join the Giallorossi from Napoli and Edin Dzeko leave Roma for Juventus.

The entourages of both players believe that the deal could possibly be wrapped-up this weekend with both strikers joining their new teams early next week.
