RomaPress – Arek Milik has said “yes” to joining AS Roma.
The Polish striker and his representatives met with Roma’s hierarchy for over five hours at the club’s training center to discuss a potential move to the Italian capital from Napoli.
After several hours, the Giallorossi have convinced the Polish international, who has one year remaining on his deal with the Partenopei, to join Paulo Fonseca’s side after his proposed move to Juventus was halted by newly appointed Bianconeri manager Andrea Pirlo.
The parties will now work to formalise the transfer of Milik to Roma, which will in turn allow Edin Dzeko to join Juventus.
Milik’s decision has already been communicated to the representatives of the Bosnian striker, who has a contract agreement in place with the Bianconeri.
