Former Roma and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic shared his thoughts on both teams’ Europa League ambitions this year.
The Bosnian spent five years in the Italian capital before joining the Bianconeri thanks to a transfer powerplay in the summer of 2016.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pjanic stated, “When I think of Sporting Lisbon [Juve’s opponent in Europa League quarter-finals], I think of the goal I scored from a free kick position in the Champions League.”
“I hope the Bianconeri can go through the next round. I dream of a Europa League final between Roma and Juventus.”
“Zaniolo? I think he made the right choice by going to Galatasaray. Turkey will do him good, I say this from personal experience.”
