Former Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic was recently asked about Luciano Spalletti’s impressive run with Napoli in the first half of the season.
The Bosnian player recalled the few months the two worked together at Roma before Pjanic decided to leave and join Juventus in the summer of 2016.
“I always admired Spalletti,” Pjanic told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “It was a shame I only got to work with him for six months.”
“I had so much fun with Luciano. He knows how to make you feel good on the pitch, he has the team playing very compact with excellent possession. He’s a brilliant coach with a great staff at his disposal.”
