Mkhitaryan after Roma 2-2 Inter: “It’s a shame because we controlled the game. We just had a lapse of concentration towards the end”.

Roma attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan appeared on Roma TV following his goal in the Giallorossi’s 2-2 draw against Inter this evening. Here’s what the Armenian had to say after the match:

It’s a shame about the final result.
It’s too bad because we played well, even in the first half apart from the goal we conceded. In the second half, we controlled the game and took the lead. We could have scored more but we had a lapse in concentration at the end.

The new formation is bearing fruit: you guys seem more comfortable.
We‘be played with this formation in the past five matches — we are doing well but I think we can improve a lot. We are doing everything that the manager asks of us, we are on the right track and I am confident about these next games.
