Roma attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan acknowledged that games against Sassuolo tend to have a different feel to them than the others.
The Armenian, who starts in attack this evening versus the Neroverdi, has fond memories of his first encounter against the Emilian side.
“I have wonderful memories when I first debuted for Roma against Sassuolo,” he said to DAZN.
“It was my first match, my first goal, and my first victory with the club. I hope that we’re able to replicate that this evening.”
He added, “I’d be even happier if I manage to score!”
The former United man has started the season is sensational form, with one goal and two assists to his name in all competitions.
