Ramon Monchi officially left Roma today by mutual consent following the sacking of Eusebio Di Francesco. Minutes ago, the Spaniard took to his official Twitter account to bid farewell to the Giallorossi:
“Rome and Roma are one of the most passionate things that football can offer, which is why I immediately fell in love and never divided the passion from our work. And it’s also why there was the desire to make this city happy and do the best for the club, which was my priority since my arrival and is why I gave all of myself in the search to make those who love Roma happy. I know we didn’t reach our desired results and the ones we’re passionate about and we disagreed in some moments, but I would like to thank all the people I worked with during these years. I won’t forget any of you, especially those of you who helped make Trigoria my home. It took me only a second to choose Roma and it will be impossible to forget about you. Forza Roma!”
