Sevilla sporting director Monchi addressed his future today at the press conference presenting Stevan Jovetić, here are his words:
“My farewell? It’s a matter that must be addressed internally with the club. I never told the president that I want to go. We have arrived to an absurd level. I will continue to work to strengthen this team. If someone posts a false story that generates misunderstandings then I can not help it. The only thing I can do is dedicate myself to this club as long as possible. I’m 120% concentrated on Sevilla.”
Sevilla president Castro also spoke on the situation of Monchi: “We want to continue to strengthen this club, to go on in the Champions League and to strengthen the team so we need the imagination of Monchi. He never said to me that he wanted to leave.”
