Following the dismissal of manager Pablo Machin, Sevilla president Juan Castro has revealed that his side are in talks for the return of recently departed Roma sporting director Ramon Monchi, who left the Giallorossi last week following the sacking of Eusebio Di Francesco. These are his words:
“Sevilla needs a sporting director and we have looked for the best and the best is Monchi. We’ve started talks and they’ve been going well. We would like to reach an agreement soon”.
