Sky Sport has reported this evening that Monchi continues to insist for Mahrez. The sporting director is trying to convince Pallotta to raise the offer for the Algerian to at least €35 million, a figure which Leicester would probably allow the player to leave.
They disagree in England, however. The Leicester Mercury reports Leicester City are expected to reject a second bid from Roma of about £32 million for winger Riyad Mahrez. City do not want to sell Mahrez despite the winger’s statement in May that he wanted to “move on to a new experience”.
