Monchi, Roma eye Alisson renewal

After another top performance against Torino, Monchi continues to eye a contract renewal for goalkeeper Alisson, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Brazilian, who was bought two years ago for only €8 million, has drawn interest from all over the world, however, Monchi’s next mission is to try and bind the player to the Eternal City. Negotiations will, reportedly, start at a base of €3 million (net), while his agent is also working on the several requests for the goalkeeper to feature in various advertisements (he recently appeared in an Armani advertisement). No concrete offer has arrived yet but this could change, especially after the World Cup. Regardless, Monchi is ready to keep the player in Rome.
