Speaking today at the unveiling of Eusebio Di Francesco, Roma sporting director Monchi was asked about the potential sales of starters at Roma and was specifically asked about Mohammed Salah and Antonio Rüdiger leaving:
“At my unveiling, we talked about similar topics. Roma is not going to sell players, we are not a supermarket, we plan to build the best possible roster and entrust Di Francesco to achieve the goals that are set. For Salah, it is true that there is interest from an English club and there has been an offer, but Roma sets the price and we will decide according to the circumstances. For Rudiger, I can say that there are no open negotiations, there is zero chance that Rudiger will leave.”
