Monchi: “We deserve to be here.”

Monchi to SportMediaset before Barcelona-Roma:

Roma still has a lot to build.
I agree. Roma wants to move forward and grow for the future. If we do not qualify, we should not look for an excuse. We are here to try and qualify. Barcelona is very strong and it will be difficult, but we are here for what we have done. We had a difficult group, we deserve to be here.

Peres-Florenzi on the right?
Florenzi has played as a winger before. Barcelona have put Sergi Roberto high up, balance is important. I expect Roma to be Roma: use a very high line and stay very compact.

Barcelona wins 9 out of 10 times, but maybe this is the one they get wrong.
I agree, they are the favorites, they are stronger and have more history. We’ll have some chances and we must seize them. Lippi said we win 1 or 2 out of 10, maybe those two are tonight and the return leg.

The Milan Derby is zero to zero.
We hope it ends like this (laughs).
