A new name has emerged for Roma’s sporting area as Tiago Pinto’s future remains uncertain amid rumours of Premier League interest.
The Portuguese director has not addressed questions regarding his future plans.
However, La Repubblica claims that Roma are monitoring various candidates to replace Pinto in case of his departure.
Among these candidates is François Modesto – currently a technical advisor at Monza who helped build the team that turned into the surprise of this year under Raffaele Palladino.
Modesto acted as sporting director and head of scouting at Olympiakos from 2016 to 2022 where closely collaborated with current Roma CEO Lina Souloukou.
