Monza boss Raffaele Palladino was thrilled with his team’s performance this evening in their 1-1 draw against Roma.
The hosts scalped a point off the Giallorossi and extended the capital club’s winless streak to three, which bumped them down to 7th in the league table and at risk of missing out on a top four finish.
“I saw a team performance tonight,” began Palladino during his post-match interview on DAZN.
“We played courageously against a team that forces you to play gritty, aggressively. They’re very strong on set pieces and we did well to prevent them from scoring off one.”
Finally, “I congratulated the team because we’ve given continuity to both our performances and results. This is an ambitious club, Galliani and Berlusconi want to build a strong team. Every day they challenge you to improve.”
“They’ve got huge ambitions for next year but we’ve got to stay focused on this final stretch of the season, there’s still five games left.”
