Monza head coach Raffaele Palladino has been named as Mourinho’s potential successor in the Italian capital.

With Mourinho’s future yet to be resolved, Roma are being linked with various technicians who could become eligible for a career change next summer.

Among these is Palladino who has turned Monza into a consistent, mid-table team over the last year.

According to calciomercato.com, Roma President Dan Friedkin has expressed interest and admiration for Palladino and sees him as a potential good fit for the Giallorossi’s long-term project.

At 39 years old, the former Genoa and Juventus player, is the youngest coach in Serie A and last year he managed to avoid relegation with Monza with 6 matchdays to spare,

Palladino’s contract with Monza is set to expire in June 2024. The Italian technician is expected to consider other options in Italy.
