Monza manager Raffaele Palladino discussed Roma’s decision to appoint Daniele De Rossi as their interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

In his pre-match press conference, Palladino shared his opinion on the young and inexperienced De Rossi taking over Mourinho’s managerial vacancy.

“I am convinced that Roma made the right choice: Daniele is a person of substance and I am grateful for the words he had towards me.”

“I had him as a colleague in the coaching course and I can say that he is a great guy. I told him that he now has one more fan in me,” Palladino told the media on Saturday morning.
