Monza manager Raffaele Palladino attended his pre-match press conference before his team’s trip to the Italian capital.
There, tomorrow afternoon, Monza are set to face Jose Mourinho’s Roma at Stadio Olimpico.
“Tomorrow we must behave exactly like a few weeks ago when we played against Lazio at the Olimpico,” Palladino told reporters.
“We face a strong team, Roma are a team with a great squad. We will have to play a very careful game because if we let our guard down even for a brief moment they can hurt us.”
“Papu Gomez’s ban? It’s sad, we lose a great footballer and a great man. He had integrated very well and it’s really a shame. We were made aware of this but the group reacted well. We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks. In these moments the group always gave excellent responses.”
“Our current position in the table is very good, but we must think about Roma and nothing else. We cannot fear anyone.”
