Monza make offer for Rick Karsdorp

Roma are trying to find a suitable destination for Rick Karsdorp as the Dutchman continues to push for a January exit following his dispute with Jose Mourinho.

According to Sky Sport, several clubs have come forward for the ex-Feyenoord man in recent days.

Newly promoted Serie A side Monza have made a bid for Karsdorp on the basis of a loan with obligation triggered only in case Palladino’s men were to avoid relegation by the end of the season.

However, the main obstacle for Monza remains Rick Karsdorp’s excessive salary demands, which makes this deal an unlikely scenario.

Finally, Karsdorp has caught the attention of Premier League clubs as well. Most recently, Southampton and Bournemouth have made inquiries for him.
