Monza manager Raffaele Palladino complained about the refereeing decisions in tonight’s defeat to Roma.

The Italian technician expressed his dissatisfaction at full-time in his interview with DAZN.

“I congratulate Roma and De Rossi. We faced a strong team, they came here with great determination. I congratulate my team, it’s a false result because we put them in difficulty.”

“We could have even taken the lead, with the big teams if you concede little they punish you. However, I am satisfied with the boys’ performance, they did well.”

“De Rossi? I thank him for the kind words, we are friends and he is a great guy. I also congratulate Roma because they chose well. I always wished him to get to coach at Roma, I also hoped so.”

“I am bitter because of some errors by the referee that occurred this evening and affected the match. On the first goal Colpani goes on the counterattack and is fouled by Paredes, and then they score. On the second goal there was never a foul. Then on the fourth there is a foul on Pessina in their half of the pitch which is not whistled.”
