Monza’s Raffaele Palladino seeking revenge against Mourinho

Andy Mattioli

Monza boss Raffaele Palladino discussed having to face Mourinho’s Roma in the next Serie A matchday.

Following Monza’s victory over Spezia, Palladino was asked about it feels like for a first time manager to go up against Jose Mourinho.

“For me it’s all new, every Sunday is a great emotion,” he told reporters after the full-time whistle.

“I try to learn from everyone by watching lots of games every day. I try to grow together with the team because I really like this job,” he continued.

“Facing Mourinho is a great emotion, he made football history, his Inter was a very strong team. The second year that Inter beat us 5-0 in Genoa, so you bet, I’ll try to get my revenge.”
