Alvaro Morata continues being linked with a move to Roma this summer.

As the striker’s future at Atletico Madrid remains uncertain, Morata’s entourage have decided to consider offers from abroad including Saudi Arabia and Italy.

Initial approaches from Saudi were eventually dismissed as Morata made it clear that he intends to continue playing in Europe.

As a result, Roma have become the favorites to land the Spanish forward who, according to Il Tempo, is Jose Mourinho’s top choice for the Giallorossi’s attack.

Roma GM Tiago Pinto is trying to find a way to complete a deal for Morata, but the conditions are extremely difficult given Atletico’s demands – over €20 million in estimated price-tag – and Morata’s current salary – around €8 million – which would not be subject to Italy’s growth decree, forcing Roma to cover all of it themselves.
