More delays: group training won’t begin tomorrow in Serie A

Group training will not begin tomorrow for Serie A clubs. Ansa reports that Italy’s scientific committee has not yet approved the new medical guidelines for team sports.

It’s reported that the new guidelines will likely be approved tomorrow — so teams will continue with individual training for at least the next 24 hours.

Confusion as to whether or not the 2019/2020 campaign will be completed remains to be seen. All parties set a preliminary restart date for 13th June, but as the delays with group training continue — it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that the season will restart by then.
