Jose Mourinho did not take part in the latest confrontation between Serie A managers and members of the Italian Referee Association.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, on Monday AIA President Gianluca Rocchi and some of his closest collaborators staged a meeting with all coaches in Serie A – with the exception of Mourinho – to analyze some of the most recent refereeing decisions in Italy’s top flight.
Moreover, Rocchi and the technicians debated and listened to VAR broadcasts and discussed potential solutions to the increasing tension between match officials and players.
Mourinho was replaced by Roma’s general secretary Maurizio Lombardo.
