Roma manager Jose Mourinho responded to questions regarding last year’s Conference League final with Feyenoord.
Ahead of tonight’s rematch, the Portuguese technician had some words of advice for Feyenoord staff and players.
“It seems that everyone here is still obsessed with last year’s final. But, you know what? I have lost many times in my career, 25 years of wins and losses,” Mourinho told Vandaag Inside.
“You can’t win a game you’ve lost. Even if Feyenoord were to win 10-0 tonight, they would not win last year’s game. It’s over.”
“I don’t care any more about last season. I’m interested in this season and today’s match. We face a good team, an excellent team. So we have to show our best side, we have to be very good to reach the semi-finals.”
