Brazil are in search of a new manager following Tite’s exit as a result of the Selecao’s recent elimination from the World Cup.
In Italy, the two main candidates for the job are reported to be Roma’s Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti.
Both coaches have been linked with national team duties in the past and are now considered heavy favorites to land either a job with the Portuguese or Brazilian national team.
According to La Repubblica, Brazil have contacted the entourage of both managers and are awaiting a response in the coming days.
Moreover, the Italian newspaper claims that if Ancelotti were to accept, Mourinho would immediately become the favorite to replace him at Real Madrid with Florentino Perez having already inquired about this possibility before Mou’s appointment at Roma.
