Jose Mourinho confirmed the earlier rumours suggesting Roma legend Bruno Conti will be leading the team vs Salernitana.
In light of Mourinho and Foti’s suspension on the first matchday of the season, the Special One assigned legendary club captain and current technical coordinator of the youth sector – Bruno Conti – as his replacement on the touchline.
“Having Bruno sit in my seat on Sunday is an honor for me. When I spoke to him for the first time, I immediately felt his enthusiasm and his motivation,” Mourinho told Roma TV.
“I thank him for the emotions he has given me back and I am sure that Sunday together with our fans he will give us an extra boost.”
