Mourinho before Napoli kick-off: “It’s a tough match for both teams.”

Roma boss José Mourinho admitted tonight’s clash between his side and Napoli is going to be a tough battle.

Both sides have a lot to play for this evening with the Giallorossi pushing for a top four finish while Napoli want to keep their Scudetto dreams alive.

“Certainly it’s tough to replicate the intensity we had on Thursday, but we don’t have another option. Every point that’s still left to play for is important for us,” Mourinho told DAZN.

“We’re in the Conference League semi-final in two weeks so we don’t have any other solutions than to give everything tonight. However, our players are positive and we also have options on the bench who are confident.”

Adding, “Tonight is a really tough match for us, but it is for them, too. We’re still fighting in Serie A and need to continue getting as many points as possible to consolidate fifth place.”

“I’ll repeat: I think Juve are too strong to fall out of fourth and fade away this late in the season.”
