Mourinho before Roma kick-off against Inter: “We’re in an extreme injury situation.”

Roma boss Jose Mourinho lamented his side’s numerous absences before his side kicked-off against Inter.

Locked into the race to secure a top four finish, the Giallorossi have been decimated by injuries in recent weeks. Several key pieces won’t be available to feature against the Nerazzurri including Chris Smalling, Stephan El Shaarawy, Gini Wijnaldum and Rick Karsdorp.

“Right now we’re in an extreme situation ahead of an incredibly important game,” the Special One told DAZN.

“On Wednesday we lost Celik and we’re still without Smalling and El Shaarawy. However, they’re on the bench with the rest of their team because we want to be together.”

“Though, we recovered Belotti and Matic, both of whom can lend us a big hand. As for Dybala, he might be able to play 10-15 minutes tonight.”
