RomaPress – Two months since being announced as the club’s new manager, José Mourinho is ready to officially commence his adventure at Roma.

The capital club confirmed to the media today that the Portuguese technician will touch down in the Italian capital tomorrow — less than one week before the start of preseason.

The news was corroborated by an Instagram post that the 58 year-old published moments ago, bidding farewell to his hometown of Setúbal, Portugal. Mourinho will board a private flight tomorrow morning and is scheduled to touch down at Ciampino airport in the early afternoon.

He will be joined by his staff at Roma’s training center, Trigoria, tomorrow for their first day of work. In addition, ‘The Special One’ is also expected to meet with club executive, Tiago Pinto, throughout the weekend to discuss the club’s current transfer market situation.

Pinto is working to finalise the sales of Pau Lopez and Cengiz Ünder while also securing the acquisition of Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka all before Monday.
