Roma manager Jose Mourinho was finally able to welcome Marash Kumbulla back to the team’s group training.
The Albanian defender was involved for the first time in months in Roma’s group training drills after having missed the last eight months due to a torn ACL.
Kumbulla is unlikely to make his return to Roma’s squad list before the new year.
According to Corriere della Sera, the last thing the Giallorossi want to do is rush him back; instead, the centreback will join the club’s Primavera in the coming weeks in order to get closer to the necessary fitness levels.
This would serve to have Kumbulla back at Mourinho’s disposal for the busy January schedule.
