Although José Mourinho refused to participate in any post-match interviews following the Giallorossi’s 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night, the Portuguese technician did stop in the opponent’s dressing room, reports Il Tempo.
According to Alessandro Austini, the Special One made a quick stop at Verona’s dressing room and congratulated Tudor’s men by saying “The referee was wrong, but you guys played great,” referring to the red card he was shown by match official Pairetto.
After this quick stop, Mourinho left the Olimpico without saying a word to anyone else.
The manager has got the Friedkins’ full trust and support. The ownership are aware that this is a long-term projects and investments will need to be in made in the summer in order to provide Mourinho with a functional squad.
