Mourinho could face three-match ban after heated exchange with referee in Atalanta loss

Jose Mourinho’s heated exchange with match official Chiffi in the second half to Roma-Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico could cost the Special One dearly following the international break.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho – who stormed the pitch in the Giallorossi’s loss to Atalanta in frustration – is being eyed by the Sporting Judge with a serious punishment which could result in a three-match suspension.

Referee Chiffi and the fourth match official’s report will be considered later today and a decision will be taken this afternoon for the following league games after the international break.
