Jose Mourinho touched upon Paulo Dybala’s form in last night’s post-match presser, declaring him unavailable for the upcoming Europa League fixture.

Due to the Argentine’s heavy usage over the past few weeks, Mourinho decided to preemptively exclude him from the team’s squad list for Thursday night’s game with Servette.

“He will not play on Thursday, he’s reached his limit,” Mourinho told reporters after Roma beat Frosinone last night. “You know perfectly well that if we didn’t win tonight, the Colosseum would have exploded, St. Peter’s would have been attacked by an angry mob.”

“I would never let him play if he told me he couldn’t do it, and today he told me the exact opposite. When he came off I told him that now I get to decide what’s best, and so he won’t play on Thursday.”
